Table setup | 5:30 p.m.

Guest and member arrival | 6:00 p.m.

Contestant check-in closes | 6:15 p.m.

Chili serving begins | 6:30 p.m.

Judging begins | 7:00 p.m.

People’s choice and judges voting ends | 7:30 p.m.

Awards | 8:00 p.m.

Divisions

Bean Division | Beans, pasta, rice, etc. are approved

No Effen Beans Division | No beans, pasta or rice. Make a Texas style chili!

Rules

1. You may cook as much chili as you wish but we expect a min. of 2 quarts per entry.
2. Since the competition involves sampling by judges and event attendees, please be aware that each person’s liability is based on ingredients cooked in your chili. ANYONE PREPARING AND SERVING HARMFUL INGREDIENTS WILL BE HELD LIABLE.
3. Participants must furnish their own utensils, table, coolers, ice, extension cords and chairs. Bring your own crockpot!
   1. Optional – bring chopped onions, shredded cheese and chopped peppers to serve as toppings
4. The chapter will provide bowls, napkins, crackers and plastic-ware.
5. Please arrive in plenty of time to get set-up and be ready to start serving at 6:30pm.
